This song is great. If Whoever Said had been the second single, people would like this song a lot better than they do.

The la-da-das are a favorite moment of mine on this album.

Found myself really enjoying the drums on this one today. Which is funny because not too long ago I was saying Matt should be doing more on this song.

I don’t think most people realize how good this song is. It’s fucking perfect. Can’t wait to hear it live, it’s gonna kill.

If they can play it at the recorded speed it should be a lot of fun live. That's a big if.

I like this song though, it's chaotic and fun.

Re: Superblood Wolfmoon
Quick Escape should have been the 2nd single. While this song isn't horrible, and it's grown on me, it's one of the weaker songs on the album.
Given the state of affairs, a quieter 3rd single such as "Alright" would have been good after that. This choice for a second single is just puzzling.

Re: Superblood Wolfmoon
This one definitely took me awhile. I think I was used to the 1-2 punches of the last 3 albums and immediately getting the structure of the song and being hit right on the forehead with those songs. This one was all over the place at first. I couldn't follow the lyrics so I kind of went .... I'll just get to it later. Well now it's later and I'm digging all of the transitions and changes in melodies. Best way for me into the songs was following the guitar chords. Still don't really get all the lyrics and I don't yet know how it all connects to the rest of the album. Fun song to jam to.

Re: Superblood Wolfmoon
I really liked this when it came out as a single (I think my first words upon hearing it were "holy shit, it rules!"), but I agreed that it sounded more like a weird deepcut than a single
which makes it strange that as a weird deepcut, it took me a while to appreciate it as track 2; I think they could have added an intro to it, particularly, or at least layered something underneath those drums (Ed mumble-singing "Superblood Wolfmoon" before the guitars kick in, anything)
but in the last couple of days the song has opened up for me again; it's not having the same impact as when it was a song by itself, and almost isn't even the same song when surrounded by these others, but it's climbing again as part of the overall impact of the album
I particularly enjoy how noisy and messy the guitars are (and become), lifting it from a throwaway spritzy punker to something more akin to a Lost Dog
it's also really nice to have a physical copy of the album now; the artwork concept is as strong as this band has ever produced, again situating this song in a context that just feels very Pearl Jam
