That's all ive seen of his work though. i dont intend to watch anything else.
I mean, please feel free to explore. Maybe you can find something of value there. But I have not found anything I can latch on to in the work itself. And then watching/reading interviews with him has just made me disregard him all together. He has a clear disdain for the art and zero knowledge/comprehension for film making. If he's managed to do anything well, it has been by accident. He's not an artist or a director, he's a conman. And I have no respect for him.

But whatever. Others seem to like his work. So, far be it from me to advocate denying yourself. Maybe he has something to offer you (as he does for others). Check his stuff out for yourself. I'll happily avoid all of it and spend my time/money on those that I think are bringing something to the table.

Harmony Korine is the worst thing that's ever happened to pop culture and/or cinema. Fuck this. And Fuck McConaughey for agreeing to be part of this insignificant shithead's "vision."

PS: I did not read the article. I just really hate Harmony Korine.
Korine might be one of the best directors in the last 25 years. A true visionary who doesnt need any major studio to do whatever he wants.
Nope. He isn't. Not even close. He is not a visionary. He is a hack. He is an asshole and void of talent. If you like Spring Breakers, good for you. I haven't seen it. But I've heard good things. But even an idiot can make one decent thing. One success does not a "visionary" make. He's one of the worst things that's happened to cinema (not the business but the art of) that I've ever encountered. By his own admission he has no vision. He's a petulant child and a sensationalist. He's less than shit.
I like how you don't really qualify your opinion at all. Seems pretty sensationalist and sounds a lot like a petulant child.
Hey Dev.

Fuck off, how about.
You're acting insane. Sort yourself the fuck out.
Oh, okay, Dev. Sure thing.
What's going on? This isn't you...
I guess you'd know best.
whatever. I'm trying to help you but you seem intent on humiliating yourself. I don't even care about what you have said to me. I just feel bad for the people who look up to you because they are the ones you are really letting down.
Whatever you say, boss.

Apatow isn't a very interesting director either. But don't take my word for it. Please watch all of his films. But don't say I didn't warn you.

I shouldn't speak for him, but my memory is that he hated him up until Spring Breakers. But LV thinks Spring Breakers is a great movie. And again, in all fairness, I still have not seen it. It might be really wonderful.

Yea but LV thinks Adam Sandler and Zack Snyder are the greatest filmmakers of our generation.

You can't help who you are. You'll never change even though your gimmick is played out . Its like how Ted Bundy just couldnt stop himself from doing what he did. He needed it.

yeah, but he is. You might not like his craft, but he truly is one. He did Kids when he was one, with a talent like Clarke were he wrote about he knew. He did Gummo, and you might like it or not, but it was such a different and truly unique piece. I wont even mention Spring Breakers.
