That assumes Pete actually won, or that him winning more delegates despite getting fewer votes wouldn't be a controversy on its own.

That headline is a weird way of saying that Sanders is maintaining a huge lead. And I guess Buttigieg's gains just materialized out of thin air, instead of being taken from one of the other candidates.

1.) some startup was about to miss a national news level deadline and fucked up their app rollout

2.) a no-name mayor from the Midwest conspired with said startup and the DNC and party leadership at the state level to try and steal a hotly contested primary that would be subject to extensive analysis by both public and private entities After a close result that nearly ripped the party in half four years ago?

I doubt it. I'm leaning towards gross incompetence with a dash of exploitation of the situation to downplay a Sanders win, but I don't know for sure. They've known about these inconsistencies for a while now.

And given the shadiness and lack of transparency over this app, they deserve all the conspiracy theories they get. Especially Buttigieg.
