I am required to have yearly physicals with the company I work for. The doctor makes me stay naked during the whole exam. Is that normal? He also spends a lot of time examening my penis, testicles, and looking through my pubic hair. I get erections easily anyway and produce precum easily too. I have asked for another doctor but they say he is the only one that can do the physical.

It's just so embarrassing standing their with an erection with fluid dripping out of my penis. Last year was the worst when he was sqeezing my penis looking for "nodules" I accidently ejaculated on the doctors hands. I really wish I could go to another doctor. Is this normal?

With Supreme Court appointments being totally political I'd have to agree. If you are a Supreme Court judge anywhere near retirement age I believe you'd be honour bound to at least consider retirement at a most politically advantageous position. So as a Democrat RBG did a disservice not retiring earlier and allowing Obama to replace her at that time.

Staying on for the next Pres will always be a gamble. I'm surprised this isn't a more open discussion for all Supreme Court Justices tbh.

Well sure, she could’ve retired in 2009. I think it’s a little bit of “hindsight is 20/20” to suggest that she should’ve stepped down because of the possibility of the absolute insanity that ensued Starting with Scalia’s death.

Maybe. Again, she turned 80 in 2013, and there was clear precedent of Souter retiring in 2009 (in his 60s, btw) so that his successor would be nominated by a Democrat president. I mean, just put it simply: US life expectancy is around 78. Obviously that skews based on income, but there's not a really strong argument to be made that she could have expected to live out her days on the court without risking her seat going to a Republican, unless she's either arrogant enough to think that Democrats would win in perpetuity, or narcissistic enough not to care. It's not a major failing, I guess, and Breyer is just as guilty of it if not moreso (it would be so fucking funny if he died this month too) but she's definitely partly responsible for this situation regardless of the Scalia mess.

Which is also to say that I don't think it's internet heresy unless you're traveling in real STILL WITH HER hagiographic girl boss circles.

I doubt she thought much about retirement until Scalia died, and by that point, the Republicans had made it too late.

Absolutely. This isn't RBG's fault. Most prognosticators were predicting a Democrat winning in 2016 anyway. Rising Latino vote numbers, healthy economy, etc.

I was more disappointed with Sandra Day O'Connor leaving in 2006 and really surprised with Anthony Kennedy's choice to leave during Trump's era.

I applaud Kennedy for wanting to enjoy retirement like a normal human being
