Is that I like the relationship Tyrion has with Tywin so much--especially the show version, but the book version, too--and if you make him not Tywin's son, it changes the bounds of that relationship slightly. It's not that he was like a bastard because he's a dwarf, but he actually is a bastard. I know that's a fine distinction, but it's one I hope doesn't actually come to pass.

If there's a secret Targ in the Lannister family it's Jaime/Cersei. But I don't think that's true either.

If I wanted to be pedantic: I could see "Arya" surviving, i.e., not as Arya Stark--rather, she gives herself fully over and becomes No One. I have a funny feeling that if she tries to pull away and return to her old life, things won't go well.

She's absolutely going to pull away from the faceless man training. She never gave up being Arya Stark, no matter what she's been saying during her training. Needle is still hidden under that stone.

True, but I don't think you can just say, "You know what? NM" to the most feared group of assassins in the world, especially after you've learned their secrets. If she gets away, some serious shit is going to have to go down.

We've discussed the episode title for the premiere, but the next two episodes were recently released:

S06EP01 - "The Red Woman" -- I've got to imagine that the big drama in this episode is going to be when Davos finds out that Melisandre fried Shireen. However, since they're going to have to figure out how to resurrect John, they can't be enemies for too long.

SE06EP02 - "Home" -- My guess is this involves Jaime returning to King's Landing with Myrcella's body, reuniting with Cersei, and getting revenge-y.

SE06EP03 - "Oathbreaker" -- Has to heavily involve Brienne, right? Perhaps she reunites with Sansa and has to deal with the fact that she wasn't able to save her from the Bolton's cruelty.

Some weird predictions: Jon doesn't come back right away; he's not "alive" again until episode 8 or so. We get introduced to new Iron Islands characters early on (in first two episodes), and they're united with some of our major characters by season's end. The big basically-confirmed flashback happens at the midpoint, right before Jon's resurrection.

Hosting a watch party this weekend to celebrate the premiere. Pigeon pies (chicken pot pies), lemon cakes, and Arbor Red will be served in great abundance.

My predictions:

Jon is resurrected in the first two or three episodes by Bran/Three Eyed Raven. We see the Hound again this season. Dany's storyline actually goes somewhere. The Iron Islands stuff is handled better than the Dorne action last season. Sansa/Jon/Davos, the wildlings, and the houses loyal to the Starks take back Winterfell.
