It's be great to have at least eight teams. If we have an even number every team can play every day. But even with an odd number we can make it work.
Really excited for this one. It will be fun to see how everyone's teams look.

I can't wait until we play each other. 2013 Arencibia vs. 2014 Arencibia!

Haha nice. Who is the thinnest kid at fat camp?
Frank Catalanotto will for sure make my 25. I could see him making yours. Your 25 man will be pretty good for your limited history.

I loved him in Toronto... the Catalanotto/Johnson platoon was amazing for a couple years. But he'll probably be up against guys like Devon White, Vernon Wells, George Bell, Shawn Green and Alex Rios for a backup outfield spot. Tough competition, and he didn't really do a ton in Toronto.
How about some Ferguson Jenkins/Nolan Ryan vs. Roger Clemens/Roy Halladay, though?

I haven't commented in here until now because I wanted to let you guys finish, but I'm really impressed with how this went. I've been a big fan of WhatIf Sports for a long time and have used it for my own alternate histories, so this is a cool feature. I wish I knew more about baseball to effectively participate--I would have been more useful for an NFL or college football tournament.
Good job everyone!

I'm excited for the front of my rotation. Gaylord Perry too.
Ugh I can't stand Rios. He was good for you though.

I said before that this was the most efficient and well run tournament in the history of RM.

I am a bit concerned that their records still only go back to 1996. Still plenty of great players to choose from (1997 Huskers, for example!) but it's just a small slice of what could be.
EDIT: I just saw that this league was only the post-strike era, so maybe this wouldn't be such a problem after all.

My only hope in the franchise tournament is that the dead ball era core of my rotation (Ed Walsh, Ed Cicotte, & Doc White) prove to be mystifying to every other team.
