So Jeff wrote 4 songs on this album and I haven't heard any yet. Also, from the interviews I'm getting the feeling stone and Jeff really dug in on arrangements and textures on them
I've only heard two studio songs (both mike songs)

I can't remember how i was feeling before backspacer, but i don't think i was nearly this excited. This album is going to be so good

the best way to make sure the album sounds good is to only listen to shitty music for the week running up to the album release.

Uhhhh tough to say. There are some nice songs on it. I always enjoy the bass player. It's not terrible or bad at all just kinda bland

Im pretty sure it was, i don't know too much of the technical parts of songs, but it struck me as a joke about Matt playing too fast live, though o don't think Matt is the reason for it, at least not the whole reason

Have they ever had a guitar song with 2 basses in it? I don't even know what that would sound like, I have no idea what to expect from MFS. I love guitar so I'm a little worried I'll be pissed they didn't layer some guitars as well but maybe it will turn out unique and awesome.

Some will tell you there was a tuba playing bass parts along with an actual bass in All Those Yesterday's. Other than that I don't think so

Lowlight has two basses - one plays the harmony to the vocals and the other plays the bassline. The harmony lines aren't very prominent but they are there.
