I honestly can't think of any situations where Obama blamed Bush for the mess he was cleaning up ... with the possible of exception of reminding Republicans who killed the economy whenever they fought his efforts to fix it.

I'm sure it happened once or twice, but it would never hold a candle to the number of times Trump blamed the Obama administration for not fixing the thing that Trump was currently not fixing.

I'm not limiting the phenomenon to just what presidents say.
