definitely. planning to watch McGinty tonight. cant' believe i waited so long to watch all of these.
Let's say I'm not planning to burn through that collection in the next 12 days, but I'd like a taste--which ones would be high-priority?
The Lady Eve and Sullivan's Travels
Okay I watched them both and still have 48 hours left for Sturges--any others? I thought Sullivan was better than TLE, by the way.
The Palm Beach Story !
Ended up getting drunk and eating oysters instead. Oh well.

Pale Rider

First of the movies I’ve planned on watching from 84-85. Just felt like watching it. A favorite from my teens.

Still enjoyable, but not the best movie. Glad they got going with westerns again with this and Silverado after a very weak period.

Conjuring the Devil Made Me Do It. It was okay. I think it suffered from not having a central set piece.

The Manchurian Candidate. Chilling. Could've had better lead performances though. Denzel is overrated... and Liev Shreiber shouldn't have a major part in anything. It works because Demme is really good.

Things Seen and Heard - one of those movies where each scene just gets worse and worse and then they seemingly just gave up on trying to land any type of ending
