That was just the push I needed. Went for the buttermilk pancakes topped with banana and pecan with a side of sausage and scrambled eggs. Large orange juice on the side. The meal was all the more decadent for being a 4:00 pm Ash Wednesday feast.

Those look great. When you posted about that first attempt I felt bad about your lack of ring molds and their obvious effect on the end result.

Oh, I went to lunch at a gourmet hot dog place this afternoon with my brother and treated myself to a sausage benedict dog. It was a really nice spin on a traditional Sunday brunch.
