I hate how ND started wearing alternate uniforms.

ND has done the green ones for a long time like 1-2 times a year. But agreed I don't like how they have gone kind of modern.

Abreu in this jersey will be badass.

I would LOVE that jersey if it were black instead of navy. Especially with some silver trim around "CHICAGO."

That's the jersey that kicked off this thread actually. Well, the discussion we had about it in the MLB thread...

I enjoy when my GF wears this that I bought her. Maybe the first time I ever bought a girl I am romantically involved with a present she liked. I just showed her the collared ones. She likes these better.

If I strip away the emotional attachment to the 82-86, I think the 76-81 set is slightly better. I really do love the old "CHICAGO" script they brought back from the 1910s for that one.

Originally they had a white version of the hat that they paired with the road jersey at times. That thing was sharp on its own (though it should've been worn when they went all white at home, not with the road all-blues).



I liked when they'd pair the dark top with the dark pants.

I really miss the Ranger ones they wore in the late 80s/early 90s

These look good on TCM. Now I really do want them to switch the navy to black and use them as Sunday alts at some point.

ND is also playing two home night games this year (Texas and USC) which feels really strange.

I can't wait until 10/3/15.

I'm kinda indifferent about ND. I don't love them but don't hate them. I do like when they are relevant. It's better for college football. I'd love it if they joined the Big ten.

Right. I see where you are coming from. I use to work with a dude from Vancouver. Huge sports fan but college sports were similar to junior high sports for him.

ND is my college team. I also have wanted them to join the Big Ten for a while.
