it seems like now that everyone sees what the show is parodying all of a sudden it is no longer fun to watch because the mirror is reflecting back at them
ive enjoyed the season so far and Anthony Starr is amazing. Karl Urban is a grand champion at facial expressions. nice to see A train realize what he has been a part of

I lol'd several times in that episode.
"Ashley rubbed one out while tickling my feet"
I was hoping the gimp was going to take their mask off to reveal a celebrity cameo.

I thought the season was a great return to form after it fell off a cliff at the end of season 3. Here's hoping 5 is the grand finale and sends it out in style.

Interesting as I usually agree with your takes but consensus in these parts is the opposite. Unfunny, obscene just to be obscene, and having no coherent plot for any character other than Victoria.

Season was great. It did put its tongue through its own cheek a few times, but I ask what show were you watching the last 3 seasons if you expected anything different?

Because the previous seasons, particularly S3, were awesome political satire and consistently funny. This season was nothing but pointless side quests and the writer's fetishes on display.
And I just have the feeling they are gonna put the virus in the breast milk and maybe use Firecracker's coughing as a cover for it. (have not read comics)

The side quests were apparently a result of the stars getting famous and having other projects. Apparently it was hard to get all of the Boys into one room.

That finale was pretty intense. Didn't see them killing Neuman off. Or Mallory.
Sage's plan coming to light at the end was brilliant. S5 is gonna be a banger.

Yes but is she smart enough to just kill the Boys now that they are captured? Either no and it was all clairvoyance not intelligence or that isnt actually her plan but a tiny piece of it. She's the most frustrating piece because she was the only consistent interesting part about the season.

Is Sage even smart? Her plans just keep going to shit, and she claims that she meant to do that. It's very Trump.

She has an enlarged heart from the meds to lactate. She’s showing signs of congestive heart failure

I think she is. It's Homelander that wasn't smart enough to see what she was doing.

Oh, kinda disappointed that we have to wait so long to see Ashley's new powers/look.
