Caught up on this now. The topical stuff has been dialed back up, and not sure we needed an entire episode flashback to Covid days. I don’t think this show can go an episode without mentioning the pandemic, actually.

Anyway, seems Cory is about to go scorched earth, so looking forward to the last few eps!

I don’t think there’s less topical stuff per se, but it feels more widespread across a more diverse cast of characters, and less self important. Less Newsroom vibes, more 90210 vibes.
