When AGI is achieved it will be announced on 4chan, and then immediately reposted to Reddit without attribution, like everything else that's worthwhile.

This was interesting. I sent ChatGPT this thing I drew by hand
I said "Please thoroughly describe this drawing"
It gave me this description:
The image depicts a hand-drawn comic scene featuring two characters:
Green Creature Character:
This character resembles a cartoonish green creature, possibly a fictional alien or monster.
It has big round eyes, pointy ears, and sharp teeth.
It's wearing a blue polo shirt.
This character is speaking, with a speech bubble that reads: "I feel as if the world is spinning 10 times faster, while I'm still stuck in the same place... just dizzier."
Humanoid Character:
This character looks like a stylized human with exaggerated facial features.
He has a somewhat concerned or puzzled expression.
His skin is a shade of light blue, and he has deep blue eyes.
There's a prominent forehead, and he has grayish hair styled in a combed back manner.
This character appears to be shirtless, revealing a slim torso.
He's holding an object in his right hand that looks like a baguette or a baton.
A small thought bubble above him reads: "Still going to therapy?"
The overall atmosphere of the comic seems to be lighthearted, yet it touches on themes of feeling overwhelmed and seeking therapy. The combination of the characters' unique appearances and the dialogue makes it an intriguing piece.
I then sent that entire description to Dall-E 3 and asked it to draw it, and this is what came out:
Kinda cool

Based on early reporting, this might have (almost) went down. AI safety/ deceleration won out over progress.

If this is at all accurate, none of the speculation about misconduct can be correct.

I lost track of what the teams were. This week I was distracted by a dust up between scientists and philosophers arguing if electrons were real.
