Little girl, I love when she talks to me
Got the smile and she walk that walk with me
I want the girl but I want a lot
Might cross my mind but that's where it stops
That bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of, part of, part of
I love the girl, I'm loving the dress she wears
She's got a hold, got a hold of my neck oh yeah
I wanna cry, the way that she moves
I want the girl but not what she's going through
That bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of, part of, part of
She was so friendly
I had one too many
And now that they tell me
She was rubbing up against me
But I swear it never meant a thing
She was just a fling
There's no other woman who does it like you
That bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of me
I said no, that bitch ain't a part of me
No, that bitch ain't a part of, part of, part of

I absolutely loved Who You Are when it came out. But perhaps that was because I am from the Middle East. So it was great to see them expand their artistic horizons towards my side of the universe.

I happen to be editing an interview with a climate change denying legislator, and he's predicting how we'll look back on the UN climate panel's support for renewable energy with regret, as it will be based on faulty science...
And suddenly I'm thinking that I have a hunch of what the title of this song refers to.

welp, this new single may open up whole new ways to make fun of the band
at least we’ll have that
i pray that they slam into a Habit-style riff after that intro
clearly a drum machine
maybe if #boom sings over top instead of ed it won’t sound as bad

I'm actually thinking it's a sample of Matt's kick, with a pre-sampled snare

Listen with headphones. The decay of the kick and toms sound like they're recorded in the same room.

What a great thread to have
That is not what I was expecting from them at all
I still kind of hope that snippet wasn’t DOTC

they may have originally come from samples in matt’s cave studio but it’s so modified it’s more machine than man at this point
and those hi hat sounds are def from a machine
who would have thought this would be PJ’s Pro Tools album
maybe live Matt uses a real drum kit and it comes across as deeper and less night clubbish

you can basically hear the fluid coming out of Simmon’s vagina as he introduces the track he is so giddy
it’s clearly PJ
can you imagine a fucking hockey rink full of PJ fans trying to bop to this
puke puke puke puke
maybe if they just slam into Lukin after it will make everything OK

yeah but hardly anyone uses those anymore. Way more likely they'd record a live performance then have it trigger samples in Pro Tools.

getting a bit of spoon "hot thoughts" vibe from it now.
