Ooooh. Damn.

This actually sounds great and I believe it has to do with Ed playing a gibson there. Some meaty humbuckers. Sounds much better than his ultra bright tele's that he always plays with these days.

I didnt realize they were p90's! Is that a gibson les paul jr special or whatever?

In any case, P90's are far more aggressive. P90's are built more like humbuckers than classic single coils found on tele's and strats.

Looks like a straight up junior with one pickup. Yeah, they are a different beast than other single coils, but still have more bite and chime than humbuckers. I like them a lot.

My next guitar will hopefully be one of those in the "Television Yellow" or whatever. I recently sold off one of my guitars with p90's and im missing that sound.

I know you've seen it, but the double-cut Les Paul Special I picked up in the fall is pretty great. Years for those were 2002 to 2007, I think. They pop up on reverb all the time, but I had to be patient to get one for under $800. I really wanted 2 pups and separate tone and volume controls for each. So many tones with that config. Also wanted the bridge for intonation. Can never get it perfect with just a wrap around.

Matt Cameron: Memorable Drum Beat/Part

This question has come to mind since I keep seeing the comment that Matt Cameron is a bad drummer, and that is:

Has Matt ever created a memorable drum beat or drum part? I can't think of any of the top of my head unlike for Dave Kruzen (Why Go), Dave Abbruzzese (take your pick), Jack Irons (Who You Are, Sky I Scrape).
