I’ve been re-watching Rebels in readiness for Ahsoka. I’ve only ever watched it once.

It’s better than I remembered it to be. I’ve just finished season 2.

So they have cast Ahsoka, Ezra, Sabine, Hera, Thrawn and chopper is confirmed to be in the show

Zeb is the only one not to be cast yet. It would be strange if Zeb isn’t in it imho.

This was the promo they did at some con for Sabine being in the show. That’s the actress playing her looking at her (Sabines) ‘family portrait’ from the final episode. They’re all in it so hopefully Zeb is at some point.
That said. Zeb would be extremely difficult to do live action though I think. I know this is lucasfilm and they invented this shit and how to do it.
But people expect wonders now and Rebels has one of the more devoted and dedicated sections of Star Wars fandom.
Might be better to disappoint them by his omission rather than including him and screwing it up.

Is there any other character they've been unable to recreate in live action?

I don’t know, but seeing a live action Ashoka and the live action dumb twilek bureaucrat in book of boba feet leave me feeling meh about decent Star Wars aliens anymore.

I finished Rebels in preparation for Ahsoka. It was damn good the second time around.

Season 3 & 4 once Thrawn arrives really picks up the pace.

I didnt even hate the space whales this time.

Probably early September through late October/early November.

While i could take or leave cameos in these series, i sure hope they don’t pass up the chance to bring Zeb to live action in this. Even if just for an episode.

Do we know who is playing Thrawn? Looks like it isn’t Lars Mikkelsen:

Interesting, Ray Stevenson has been cast.,

He could play Thrawn. Either way i was hoping Mikkelsen would get the role.

Well filming is wrapped. It is weird we don’t know who’s been cast

I'm sure we'll find out at Star Wars Celebration.

Of course, this assumes that Thrawn is even in this. Which also hasn't been confirmed. It's just (responsible and likely) speculation.
