Somewhere the 10club's radar went off and they are vigorously sending emails to have it removed.

I'm going to need a definition of that term.

I presume the admin don't wish to attract the wrath of 10C when it can be avoided.

that's the kind of cutting edge thinking that will ensure you never become a mod.

I wouldn't worry, despite the 10 club's objections, this recording isn't against any of their written rules or any other laws I know of. They just don't like it.
Worst that can happen? They have it taken down.

I like that it sounds like nothing in their catalog to me. Its seems well structured and seems like there's layers and a nice build up. It does sound heavier than amy of their slower songs that we've heard in a long time. Lately their slower stuff has been very tame and clean. This seems grittier. I really hope they play it tomorrow and someone YouTube's it. But for now I'll keep listening trying to decipher more of the song.
First real post on here, so feel free to laugh, scorn, and mock for initiation rites. But, 4 songs came to mind with this:
Garden - for the heavy, dare I say "grungy" feel
Sleight of Hand - for the searching guitar parts
In Hiding - for the joyful resolution (making this sound like a happily resolved Sleight of Hand)
Gone - for the key changes throughout
It's as if those 4 collided and landed on S/T.
