Very compelling, with lots of good moments, a fucking great lead and some weak last 10 minutes or so.
Still, very fun.

Finally got to The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It on Christmas eve.
I really got a sense of 'poor mans Tarantino' going on with many of the angles and particular inclusion of the soundtrack. Performances by Farmiga and Wilson were solid but ultimately the only positive I walked away with after viewing.

its the worst of the three for sure, and below the anabelle trilogy too, but it has its moments. Th whole first sequence is pretty good.

The Night House.
Terrific performance from Rebbecca Hall and a very inspired production design. It has its moments but it kinda get a little boring at the end.
Still, pretty solid...I havent seen The Ritual, but im exited about this guy´s Hellraiser.
I don't know where the story was but I saw it on FB; apparently the "Pig" director has been chosen for the "A Quiet Place" spin-off? I was worried when John Krasinski said he didn't wanna do it, but surely if anyone can it's this guy?

yeah, im bummed out that his next project is a spin off on that franchise.
I was ok with the first movie and hated that beat by beat remake of the sequel.

the sequel was my favourite movie of the year, I found the first movie good but the second one legit made me cry at the end
