There's a theory floating around that he's a greenseer who's skinchanging into all the rats we see to gather intel around the Red Keep.

Interesting. I figured those were more metaphorical.

I wasn’t aware that House Strong kept the Old Gods

The rats are just a metaphor for the rats gathering around the house of the dragon. The first shot they focus on rats on Rhaenyra sneaking through the dungeon and the rats are literally running through Balerion’s skull

Not sure, but they are descended from the First Men. I think the theory also relies on how close Harrenhal is to the Isle of Faces. I'm sure it won't be explored more in the show, but it's fun to think about in the background.

Another excellent episode. I didn't find the Larys bit out of left field at all. Bastards, cripples, and imps have a history of scheming in this world and the breadcrumbs were laid in earlier episodes.

Tracking the names of everyone is probably the most difficult part of the show right now. Did chuckle at the Grover Tulley reference.

There's also an Elmo if I'm not mistaken.

Westeros: Where you can stroll into the local prison, scoop up a handful of death row inmates, cut out their tongues, and form your new gang.

What a world.

The new Rhaenyra lacks the charisma of the younger actress. Such a shame.

I agree. They at least got the accent right, but young Rhaenyra has a nasally voice and older Rhaenyra has a more guttural voice

He’s a confessor at the red keep, which gives him access to the dungeons

So we're meant to believe a dude called "Breakbones", the strongest man in the realm, was defeated by an old wooden door?

Did we actually see Lyonel succumb to the fire?

No. We did not.

Yes.

The new queen was perfect though. Reminded me very much of the previous actress.
