Another added bonus to winning the AFC--the Broncos saved their OC from being ensnared into the Factory of Sadness.

I was about to have a similar reaction to your post, but then I did a count and until yesterday 17 teams had been to the Super Bowl more recently.
:(

Sorry. :( Broncos fans tend to have pretty high standards.

What about the media in Denver? Will they kill the team if they lose the Super Bowl?

Here in Boston, the media (some of it) are killing the Patriots for their failure to win a Super Bowl in 10 years. You'd think they just finished 10 straight losing seasons...

If the Lions made the Super Bowl, the media would openly fellate the team, and the fans would do the same to the media.

*Crawls out from under blanket of embarrassment and tears*

That fucking sucked. Even the 55-10 game, we were supposed to lose big. This is out of nowhere. I'm still in shock. Congrats to the Seahawks. They were clearly the better team. I just have no...yeah. Whatever. SMH

Out of nowhere?

Only to people who haven't been paying attention. Which apparently is a lot of people.

The only thing potentially in the way of a Seahawks dynasty are the 9ers, Cardinals, and Rams. Best division right now bar none.

Maybe now people will get their faces out of Manning's lap and start paying attention.

Our defense outscored Denver tonight. Our special teams outscored Denver tonight. Oh and so did our offense. Nice job betting all that money on Denver, clowns.

I'd act more graceful about it if so many people didn't just blindly write off Seattle as a stepping stone in "Peyton's Legacy."

And I couldn't be happier that we left nothing to chance. No cop-outs like bad calls, or just an off night, or bad weather - it was pure, simple domination.

I'm glad you brought that up. Many would consider Sherman and Lynch our two best players. They weren't non-factors tonight but we still would have crushed without them. Top to bottom just dominant.

Yes, out of nowhere. Congrats on having the foresight to know the highest scoring offense in history would be held to eight points. The rest of us didn't see that coming. Again, congrats to the Seahawks. They really played with an enhanced performance tonight.

I'd only add the Rams claim to the start of dynasty right before kickoff vs. the Pats in the Super Bowl.

Regardless of what happened here, the future is still bright. Elway's building this team very well. Just take your lumps, move on, and keep doing your job.
