I've been meaning to respond. Thank you for posting those and hell yes, I would love for them to explore this side of their music more, even in an official release kind of thing (EP/Album). Your post sent me on a 2000 tour listening frenzy. I had forgoten a lot of things that I loved from that tour.

I've been living on YouTube recently, just watching old videos of Pearl Jam playing with Neil Young. Soooo good.

the early 90s were not a horrible horrible time, btw. the period just prior - mid to late 80s - was so offensive and shallow that Pearl Jam in 1992-94 was like a fucking breath of fresh air. believe it. and should you care to know - I can tell you that had you been of age in 1992 or there 'bouts, you would have glommed right on to the music scene then and rejoiced at your luck.

I believe it. Mine was a jokey response to that terrible video. I'd have made a similar comment about the late-70s, my favorite period for rock music, if somebody had posted a similarly appalling clip from that era.

This is how black should sound with keys. Boom is so bad. Im sure he's a great guy and gels with the band but good god....Benmont is a pro and adds so much to this song. So incredible.
