I love basketball, played since I was 8, but I am fully aware I'm now both a 50 year old man and my hoops game is decidedly old school.
I've been considering adding a "step back" to my (limited) offensive offerings.
I am legitimately worried about doing a career ending ACL though.

Went out for the first time in like two months, and I get a furious text message from a friend who is angry that I didn't invite her (she hates this band anyway!)
I can't win with these hoes.
Almost ruined my night ngl.

Maybe you shouldn't be trying to win. That might be your problem right there.

By "win" I just mean "not make them angry at me for no reason".

Maybe she realized you don't like her as much as she thought, or as much as she likes you. It's probably true.

Storm on Monday seems to have damaged some of our siding and water got in, so today they're "opening up" my kitchen wall.

Godspeed. How long is it going to take? Are you considering staying at a hotel while the work is being done?

I stopped at 48. Paying for it now with an arthritic hip. Just got a cortisone shot this morning and it feels so much better

Cabinets and backsplash. Seems like we caught it right away--they took the cabinets off that wall and they're both fine.

No idea. It looks like a small leak but until they really open the wall, hard to say. We're staying here for now.

The good news is there's no mold. Looks like we caught it right away. Should be able to patch things up on Monday
