Don’t waste your time with Walmart brand. Nowhere near the same. They’re closer to a tortilla chip than actual Fritos.

I have easy access to Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Walmart, Aldi, Trader Joes, and Wegmans.
Trader Joes has some with elote seasoning that are awesome.

But still the thing I don't understand is the price differential between Fritos-style corn chips and other chips. Even at Kroger, I assume their corn chips are twice the price of normal tortilla chips or potato chips.

I don't know if this is irrational hate or my lack of understanding.

I hate getting surveys at the end of customer service calls because they ask questions that are beyond the scope of the call.

"Was your problem resolved?" Well, the person on the line said that they credited my account, but the only way I know that they actually did what they said they were going to do is by waiting to get my bill and see if the charge is still on there, and the last 2 people who told me they did it failed to do it. If the charge is still there a month from now, then they damned well did NOT resolve my problem, but I have no way of knowing that right now.

Ask me if they were polite, if they gave me a name, if they understood my problem. All of those things I can weigh in on. Don't ask me to be a soothsayer.

Man, those reaction videos on Instagram stories where there's an influencer doing something benign like making a sandwich while staring into the camera, nodding in agreement or grimacing with outrage while listening to another influencer weigh in on some social justice issue or news event.

I guess I "understand" them, but I don't really understand them. How did whatever this is evolve into this content?
