We're not hurt. We just want people to buy the book so we can write volume 2.

Also, if it was one of you guys, we wouldn't care, but we can't have some, off-the-shelf riff raff trashing us.

If you are buying a new book about Pearl Jam this late in their career, you are probably a super fan. If you are a super fan this late in their career, and need a lyrics sheet, you are dumb.

I guess the absence of lyrics is because you couldn't reproduce copyrighted material?

I would buy a Funko pop before I would buy a book of lyrics. Do not condescend to selling me a collection of google searches.

there would be issues with that. there are quotes, but we couldn't reproduce whole lyrics.

Plus there is a template to this series that we were roughly following.

But context too. Stip has a the gift and walks us through these songs. He's guilty of overthinking and thats all. But the lyrics wouls be a handy aside, even though thats impossible legally. Theyd be sued into oblivion if theyd done that without permission. Theyd never have been given permission.

Hey, we wrote the book about Pearl Jam. They lyrics would be what we say they are.

But also, we already had to cut for length as it was. Would your rather have lyrics and only 10 albums?
