I've read rumors for both West Palm Beach and Tampa for late Fall. I support those rumors. I would love to hit Florida during that time of year.

their next show will take the idea of a celebrity-written setlist to the next level with a celebrity's help-played setlist
the band will open with a poorly-rehearsed uptempo version of love boat captain and then progressively trade out their instruments to the servants of celebrity friends of theirs one-by-one:
Mike hands his guitar to Michael Moore's undocumented housekeeper, Esmeralda
Jeff gives his bass to Jay-Z's personal shopper
Matt turns over the drum kit to Bill Maher's accountant
Stone gives his guitar to Susan Saranson's caterer
Ed hands the mic over to Larry Ellison's landscaper
the band members and their elite friends guzzle undignified quantities of wine, spilling on themselves and their fans in the front row, then eventually just leave the stage and board helicopters to go crap on peopl's houses

Is it safe to say those rumors for a May tour are dead? I see some people are saying a possible fall tour. I'd be surprised if this happens since PJ has never stretched out the album/tour cycle that long.
Where's Logan5ive? We could use some info.

I hope victor and leo are opening, those guys look awesome!
So what happened here? Obviously they had floated the idea around the band to do another run in the Midwest/East Coast in the spring, but it seems that is not happening now. Matt was out of SG this year and now he is back. There were rumors in the fall and yet ANOTHER run of shows in europe. WTF?? If that's it for the US or Canada, that pretty fucking disappointing.
I am so sick of there new "reduced touring" because there in there late 40's acting like there 70 with there achy vaginas. How bout they fucking man up for once, stop touring every year with there 15-25 shitty shows and do a REAL tour of more then 15-25 shows per year and then go the fuck away for a while. It worked fine from 1998-2003. There families will be fine with them gone.
Trying to listen to these shows the last few years and find very good versions of songs is like trying to find a hooker that is NOT a tranny in Thailand. Few and far between without some dicks.

Nice find. I wonder if this will be proceeded by SA PJ shows. There were a few South American YouTube clips put up a few weeks ago. And West Palm Beach most recently. Europe YouTube was up before Europe shows were announced.

Good thing Matt took the year off from SG so that he could sit around and receive updates on warm-weather international vacation destinations that Eddie is playing solo shows in while the rest of the U.S. freezes its tits off trodding behind the winepress
maybe there will be a fall tour consisting solely of tax havens recommended by Ed's wealthy friends:

I'm honestly curious what the deal is with Matt's replacement - is that still happening for the SG shows later in the year? Was finding a suitable substitute (understandably) too difficult?

I don't mind the reduced touring, bc simply, i would only be going to one or two shows either way. I just wish they would supplement it with more creative output
