if democracy is run the way it is supposed to be it can be fine and dandy. it is when those in power (regardless of party affiliation) are in it for power and power only is when democracy fails
Any government form would work if it was run the way it "should be". Modern democracy works (to the extent it does) precisely because it assumes that people are "in it for power" and doesn't assume some utopian ideal where people in power act right.

This line of attack might work on her former staffers who got busted for running a fake "Moorish" police force, but I can't imagine this having any real traction outside of the Black Hebrew Nationalists/ sovereign citizen Foundational Black American types.

I don't know if we want to get into the weeds over what is and what is not "correct" African American Vernacular English (AAVE), and whether or not it is applicable here.
