This is mostly true. I signed up for the free account and when I went to read this article, it tells me I have reached my limit of free articles.

Did anyone see the deadwood movie?

I liked it. I can only really remember Jane being brilliant in it

Have to watch again

The fact that it's included in the title of this thread annoys me every time I see it. It's nowhere near the same league as the other three shows.

It's a great celebration of the show and I really love it.

Has anyone watched The Sopranos movie yet? I'm hoping to watch it this weekend. I have high hopes.

It was fantastic. A perfect coda to the show.

My fault. They’re my favourite shows and I had notions about this being a discussion about themes across all I had very probably imagined.
Now it’s just somehwere to have them altogether.

It's fine. I'm biased anyway. I hated The Newsroom so much that it soured me on all Sorkin.

I also don't think any show can touch Deadwood, Sopranos or The Wire. TV peaked with those three shows in my opinion.

It's crazy to think they were just about all on at the same time.

Absolutely. Some fantastic performances, which was to be expected, but still.

That’s the magic. That never happens really.

We’re just lucky to be part of that and have been there. Rather than thinking the 75 offshoots of CSI were TVs peak

Watched the Melfi gets raped episode last night. Found it way over the top and unnecessary, like they were trying to be edgy or something.

I get wanting to set up the moral dilemma she has to make at the end of the episode, but that could have been done in any number of ways.
