No that it makes him any less of an idiot but i think that by starting the sentence with "i get so angry that" he implies he doesn't wish bad things on these people but it crosses his mind when he gets angry about it. So after some thought, Ed's comments are coming from a deep hurt, pain and anger over the tragic events of the last couple years. Ed has always been anti gun this is nothing new. The bad things comment was, bad taste. I doubt Ed wishes bad thing happen to people like Depp, Grohl, Clapton and others doesn't Jerry Cantrell hunt? The point is Ed's heart is in a good place it aways has been. He wants a better place for us all. We all do, well all of us that are thoughtful human beings. There is no need to paint gun owners as a bunch of nuts. There are wack jobs every where in society. I am done with this topic, and not done with Pearl Jam.
