Re: Christmas/Holiday Movies
A Muppet Christmas Carol wouldn't stream on Disney+, so we had to watch Noelle. That's just Elf, but with Anna Kendrick. Her intro to the city was beat for beat Buddy arriving in NYC, but in Phoenix.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Re: Christmas/Holiday Movies
I fully understand that it's not a good movie. But Kendrick is so fucking good in this. It's kind of absurd. This is a C- film that her performance alone elevates to a B+.B wrote:A Muppet Christmas Carol wouldn't stream on Disney+, so we had to watch Noelle. That's just Elf, but with Anna Kendrick. Then you add in Bill Hader, Julie Hagerty and Shirley MacLaine?? Oh hell yes.
By the end I was all. The movie moved me, actually, even in spite of it's truly terrible low-budget VFX.

Watched The Holiday the other night. Despite it's flaws I get so amped to watch that every Christmas season. I goddamn love it.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Movies
So far watched Home Alone and Elf with my girls. Wasn't getting me into the spirit of things, so I'm now watching Sicario: Day of the Soldado

Well this is a short film but it's Christmassy:
I want to be a warm and friendly person
But I don't know how to do it
But I don't know how to do it
