Wasn't the rainbow a sign that God would never judge men so harshly again? It was a promise that he would never again wipe out the world by drowning innocent babies and helpless animals who had done nothing.
Not entirely accurate, but yeah sort of this
It's fairly accurate.

Ok, specifically via flood. I guess God could still destroy us all via earthquake or some shit.
I was referring more to the phrasing around the original comment
You're right. I was inaccurate. God reserved the right to burn babies, children, and animals if adults start acting like dicks again. Praise his holy name.

Went to a gay wedding yesterday. Not in a church, but it was a full Catholic service. Most religious wedding I've ever been to. The priest was very pro-gay and said this was a victory for God. The nun praying across the street (it was outside) probably disagreed.

He'll probably get excommunicated for that. What a way to go out!

She's still denying licenses after exhausting all appeals. Why does she still have the job?

Biff Pocoroba wrote:She's still denying licenses after exhausting all appeals. Why does she still have the job?

Because she is an elected official, so she can't just be fired. She has to be impeached by the State Legislature, and that is going to be very difficult to do given that those legislature members would find it very hard to get reelected in Kentucky.
