Yeah, pretty much this. I still read a decent amount of his stuff when he actually writes, but it's probably at least 60% a hate read at this point.

Grantland is probably my favorite website. I sure hope most of their writers stick around. I enjoy Simmons' podcasts and the guests he has on but his columns aren't great.

The fact that Brian Windhorst went to the same high school as LeBron and covered him in high school is not only creepy, but shows the bias towards superstars as ESPN basically brought him on board to cover LeBron.

Every time an anchor cuts over to Windhorst and introduces him with something like "And here's a guy who really knows his stuff, let's check in with Brian Windhorst" I think to myself how many virgins did the producer promise the anchor in order to speak those words on national TV.

And it's going to get worse since their NBA coverage is close to doubling starting next season.

I hate how they can get away with "ESPN and media reporting that..." or "ESPN's Jason Stark and other media members reporting that..."
Like it is some kind of loophole to not admit that they didn't report it first.

Jay Glazer is usually pretty diligent about calling them out when that happens.

Yesterday Brady's hearing was reported to be 10 hours, then I heard 11 this morning. Now they are saying 12.

Seriously! Watching baseball on ESPN is exhausting. It's catered to casuals, kids and 90 year olds. Most of us know how a strike zone works.
