I had the same thing with Metal Gear Solid for PS1. The part where you had to withstand electric shocks by pressing square drew blood the time I finally beat the level.Mecca wrote:the only game to make me feel physical painpsychobain wrote:+-..still the best game of the generation for me and best series of the historymf wrote:that's a pretty fair assessment, especially of MGS4

not sure if you've played 4, but it's much worse. My arm cramped up something fierce.numbers wrote:I had the same thing with Metal Gear Solid for PS1. Enjoy!Simple Torture wrote:Let the summer of procrastination...begin!
Pretty excited. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I haven't owned a console since I had a Sega Genesis (although I played many games on my brother's N64), so this is a big step up. Even with the PS4 coming down the pipe, I'm eager to play through the back catalogue.
Maybe get Nate drake to take a look at it?psychobain wrote:i may have to get a new ps3, my fat old one (2008-2013) is dying

The first Uncharted game is good, but the sequel is the real star.Simple Torture wrote:I GET THIS JOKE NOW.Mecca wrote:Maybe get Nate drake to take a look at it?psychobain wrote:i may have to get a new ps3, my fat old one (2008-2013) is dying

After 24 hours, I'm still kind of overwhelmed with number of options and features in MLB The Show, but I'm enjoying it so far. I've created a player and all that, and while I still haven't climbed out of beginner difficulty, I'm doing ok. I'm the worst baserunner in the world, though.
Played about 1/2 an hour of the first Uncharted game, too. The controls are still baffling me a bit, so I'm sure I'll die many times in the first real gunfight I get into, but it's been pretty fun so far.

Mine (of a similar age) died last summer. It was a sad day.psychobain wrote:Mecca wrote:Maybe get Nate drake to take a look at it?psychobain wrote:i may have to get a new ps3, my fat old one (2008-2013) is dying
