I love Physical Graffiti so much, so glad Robert is still going strong. Great version, I would love to see this one live:

For any Mindhunter fans out there, in the final episode they use In The Light in an awesome-ass way. Almost had me bamming. Perfect use of the song.

Not just because I am selfish (because I am), but I think Robert Plant often sells the band shirt. I think there’s a lot they can still do with the Led Zeppelin songs with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones that he doesn’t consider.
That O2 show from 11 years ago now was pretty solid, and his 4 year run in the 90s with Jimmy Page was mostly spectacular live (with a B/B+ album of original material to go with it).
Always seemed a shame to me that they wouldn’t scratch all itches by maybe stretching the songs and trying some interesting arrangements. I always though Good Times Bad Times could have evolved into a nice jam in the middle, or even try playing Dazed and Confused without a 20 minute bow interlude. The Page & Plant tours didn’t play the Zep stuff by the numbers and those were great shows.

Re: The Official Led Zeppelin Thread
I agree but unfortunately I think that without Bonham he just doesn't think Led Zeppelin can exist. It's true to some extent but fans want to hear these songs and he will be dead soon enough and it will be impossible. I just don't understand why he didn't want to at least try. He hasn't stopped making music or performing live so it can't be that. Does he hate Jimmy? Does it remind him of a time in his life he'd like to forget? If Guns N Roses can make it work...liebzz wrote:Not just because I am selfish (because I am), but I think Robert Plant often sells the band shirt. Re: The Official Led Zeppelin Thread
The interview with Gorman at the end says that LZ was Page's baby and he is basically the captain. Plant is in a happy place.
