I'd trade my last two songs for it, actually. I just thought this was more likely to last.

A quick spin of the latest secret mix will probably make you feel better.

Yeah, Madam George. That made the shortlist. I liked that whatshisnuts chose Brown Eyed Girl over anything off Astral.

I should've taken Sweet Thing
I just figured BEG would fair better in this tournament, being a poppier song. I forgot to consider that RM also tends to hate things that were popular because they are popular.

For the 90s tournament I plan on only taking songs that spent at least three weeks at #1 on TRL.

Okay Lament, I found the song that is going to replace higher and higher. I'm still devastated.

I can lend you some songs from my list. Nothing from my 40 or so has been picked by anyone else.

My list is all over the place. I just keep being surprised at all-time classics that are still on there and feel obliged to take them.
For what it's worth, we're halfway through and I'm the only person who hasn't picked anything from an artist that someone else has also picked a song from. This doesn't bode well for my chances of advancing.

It seems like every song I look up either came out in 1970 or 1959.
