It's amazing how one month can completely change your opinion. I've gone from worried about qualifying to thinking we can make noise in brazil. Bradley and Zusi were both immense last night.

The stuff going on in Brazil is getting pretty out of control. I say just move the 2014 Cup to the good ol' USA. Opening ceremonies in Chicago.

We have no right to whinge about losing it to Russia when you've lost it to Qatar, and in the summer ffs.

The Qatar world cup will surely be a low-point for football.

Lost.... or didn't send enough money to Sepp Blatter?

Sadly, I think you're both right.

I just feel like the World Cup should not cause countries to go into the poor house to build venues/security for a month long tournament. That, and it's going to be 9,000 degrees outside in Qatar.

I still think that 2022 will end up being played in the US.

Just bought some supporter section tickets through the American Outlaws for the Mex/USMNT qualifier in Columbus. Man, what a shit show that was. Not comparable to 10 club tickets (F5!) but pretty crazy none the less.
We are all but qualified so it takes some drama away, but I am still pretty excited. Like, this excited....:

It could be a really good game to be at if they actually clinch qualification that night.

Anelka signs with West Brom. Hopefully he can replace most of the goals we're losing with Lukaku going back to Chelsea.

I lost track of Anelka, where was he even playing last season? Seems like a player more suited for the glue factory at this point.

WTF is going on the US? This is the best they've looked since probably 2002.

I was at a wedding all weekend so I missed the game but I heard Stu Holden looked outstanding.

LOL@this Mexico v Panama game at the Rose Bowl. Panama completely outplayed Mexico and the Mexican fans were totally classless at the end of the game throwing stuff. Chepo is going to get fired, its only a matter of time....I think he got hit with a bottle after the final whistle.

Any truth in the claim that it was Napoli fans who attacked Spurs fans before the Lazio game?
