What do you dump on your head if you support Lou Gehrig awareness?

Yeah, it was the very definition of American class right up until the Simpsons got involved.
My post was intended more as a jab at the quality of The Simpsons than a commentary on the ice thing or America in general.
Is the Simpsons still on the air? I haven't seen that show since the days when Pearl Jam made records you wanted to listen to.

This was a good one. Also, it made me feel really good about my playing. Maybe I should continue my trumpet studies after all...

Here's the Australian Motor Neurone Disease website where you can choose where your donation goes ie to research or to the charity. http://mndaust.asn.au/Home.aspx

It's a great idea as we all know that charities have to support wages, promotions etc. I've heard there's also a way to help sufferers with equipment support.

well yeah, non profits that coordinate research for and awareness of an illness need money to operate just like any for profit business. that pie graph breakdown looks reasonable to me.

Let's hope it changes after the sudden injection of cash.

i'm sure they'll bump it up, but if there are people expecting 100% of the donations to go towards just the research division, they're complete rubes.
