Sorry Niners
Isn't that actually a good thing for the Niners?

As stupid as that tweet is, I agree that this loss is on Brady alone... Again.

Is this the thread where we speculate on how much longer the Pats have Tom Brady? Do you all think that was his last AFC title game?

Even with the depleted receiving options that he had?

I don't. It's hard to find two AFC teams that can consistently keep Brady, Belichick and NE out of contention.

I don't think so. This was a patch work team from the start and I figure they've got as good a shot as any other team to get back to this spot again next year.

It's not as if there were a ton of drops or bad routes. Brady missed the throws.

I agree that Brady could have made some better throws, but the likes of Gronk could have caught those imperfect passes.

I also think that the loss of Talib was unfortunate for the Pats.

agreed, he overthrew two sure touchdowns which would've won them the game.

Wouldn't be surprised if they shop him around. Maybe even trade up and take Manziel.

Sorry Pats fans, but we'll have to close out their 2013 season with Brady doing his best Picard impression:

Here's the Revis story. He left a ton of money on the table and takes a gamble but the guy wants a ring.

Revis, Browner, Edelman... Interested to see how things play out with Vince, but I'm sure he's gone.

It'd be really nice to have a good D backfield. I forget what that's like. And if the front 7 can get a bit better, I might even be optimistic about defense for the first time since...

This is beginning to look like a historic free agency run here for the Pats.

back seven look fantastic, it's the front four that have question marks

though i'm more concerned with the state of the interior of the offensive line than i am the interior of the defensive line

The media is sure going to spin this like it's an arms race between DEN and NE.

Eh, the LBs are ok, I guess. Mayo, Hightower, and Collins don't make me think 'fantastic' at this point. Agree about the OL.
