I was disappointed with how little staying power that story had.

:(
Brendan was there??? Fucking hell, he gets into everything.
Wait, did you not see my "story"?
I did, and I really liked it, but I couldn't think of a witty retort :(

Ok, I was worried for a second. I don't want to live in a world where there are posts in the LB thread that you haven't read yet.

Well, I'm here to tell you that you don't, friend. I read them all. I may answer in the affirmative, or the negative, and I may take a while to get around to them, but you can always count on me having heard your cry.

there was no retort. Some things are so perfect they can't be engaged. Only admired.

This is where I'm going wrong. Sometimes I need to just sit back and admire. The world is so full of words sometimes.

I always though that, but just recently have come around to liking this song. I just bob my head to it. There's nothing about this song that is exceptional in any way. I just find it catchy now.

Agreed.

It's just unpleasant to listen to.

I dont get why people don't like World Wide Suicide. I really like it, especially the pre-chorus or whatever it's called. The vocal line there and the guitar chords behind it are honestly one of the coolest moments in the entire catalog, especially when the bridge goes into the stripped down pre-chorus. Just awesome. I think this is the best album of the later years by far, Life Wasted is probably the best opener in their entire catalog. Maybe Go but something about Life Wasted I just love.
