This is the first time you've ever posted down on me, K. That's a real shame.
No way bro. Nothing but love.
Meh. I know belittling sarcasm when I see it.
Ruddock, you are loved. Never doubt that.
Sometimes I feel like I'm in that Jim Carrey movie where everyone knows his world is fake except for him.

I met Lawrence Krauss last week during a Q&A forum about his Origins Project at Arizona State University. He was incredibly nice and I got him to sign my copy of A Universe From Nothing.

I've been extremely into the universe since the remake of Cosmos aired. And since then I've been having more and more trouble in finding the point in anything we do as "normal" human beings. Nothing I'm gonna do is going to have an effect on humankind. I'm not planning on having kids. I'm not a religious person. So what's the point in any of this? Just to keep on keeping on? Have a good time? It's becoming harder and harder to not realize just how completely insignificant any of us are, and what any of us do. We're less than a speck on a beach of sand. Even the greatest, most important amongst us are completely pointless in the grand scheme.

I work my ass off, for what, to have money to buy a nice new Macbook so I can essentially entertain myself while I gradually die?

I just...

ugh.

I was gonna post this long thing in response to what he said, but there's just no point now. How can I top that?
