Disney just announced Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is being released in May 2017. I guarantee that is why this got pushed back.

No way. This is getting pushed back because Disney realized that Star Wars can OWN the fuck out of december. With no major releases of significance coming up behind it, it can be top 5 at the box office for probably 2 months in a row. Couple that with the ability to sell more toys, more advertising tie in, etc throughout the holidays.
