Three confident woman, great vocals that aren't trying to be anything but what they are and complement the big riffs, zero bullshit, and they're doing it themselves mostly.
Full disclosure, they're friends too. But even if that wasn't the case I'd still be gaga over them for the aforementioned reasons.
And I'll def check out Batpiss.

I can't confirm these are all 2015 but I liked the following most recent albums from these artists enough to buy them:
Florence and the Machine
Imagine Dragons
Tame Impala
Brandon Flowers

I love "Shots" and I just decided to pull the trigger on the whole album.
Possibly one for KD, just discovered Sean Khan's Muriel from late last year. UK saxophonist, a very enjoyable listen today at work. My fave tracks are instrumentals but not many of those on youtube. I've instead uploaded "Trane's Shadow" and "Fire Within" myself and hotlinked them below. Check it.

If I had my list to do again I'd for certain find space for this little Andalusian gem from Guadalupe Plata.
"It's a filthy, fun blend of stripped-back rock'n'roll, punctuated by zombie seventh chords, rasped blues vocals and an Old World punkish intensity."
Seriously, how could that not be all kinds of great??
Here's Tengo El Diablo En El Cuerpo from the album. Check it.
