"In a preview of an interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe (the full thing airs tomorrow), Butler said that Reflektor has a classic double album vibe, with two distinct sides, and features several long, seven-minute-plus songs."
Several seven-minute-plus songs: Two.
I am excited.

4.5 stars from David Fricke at Rolling Stone. he calls it the best album they've ever made and claims it's in the same company as 'Exile', 'Achtung', and 'Kid A'

So, I mean, this could easily be a single CD. Right? I have albums that go up to 80 minutes. Maybe the separation is more conceptual than anything else.

"The way Butler and Chassagne, who are married, sing those lines in "Reflektor" is a sublime moment in the commotion."
Just one of the many funny lines in this.

yep. they've talked that it's a separation of vibes (i.e.: a classic double album)
but it's still sorta priced like a single album mostly though

These guys are funny.
I enjoyed the small bit of atmospherics in that clip.

I wonder if the concept is something like: the album, and the album's reflection...

If it's in the same company as some of the most accomplished records of all-time then what the fuck is a 5 star record? Revolver Abbey Road, and that's it?
