i buy the rock star concept album here. there's too much coincidence with EV being a huge Who fan. i thought i read he does the final track listing.
There are a couple of albums that I could say this about, depending on my mood. Vitalogy captures that ragged, almost angry, definitely driven sense of the moment for me. When I am there, this is undoubtedly #1. If I want something easily digestible but somehow still full of little nooks and crannies to dig into, Yield is the answer. If I want to live in a contemplative space while still getting jolted around a bit, No Code reigns supreme. They are all desert island albums for me.Ms Harmless wrote:the best PJ album, if not the best album ever - 5 stars

Agree, but I would also put Binaural in there as well as far as their "mature" albums.Ms Harmless wrote:that's fairliebzz wrote:There are a couple of albums that I could say this about, depending on my mood. my other "best of" PJ album is Riot Act, because it represents what I think is the best of their mature output, as opposed to Vitalogy's youth
Have you taken on an editor for this endeavor?epilogue wrote:I'm writing a series of blogs about my experience with each record. Three Vitalogy essay was so difficult too write but just reinforces how much I love that record. Even off it took a long time to get there, it's there best.
Riot Act if also the other PJ record that fights for the #1 spot for me. Both are just spectacular pieces of art.
And will you be sharing with the board?oasisfan35 wrote:Have you taken on an editor for this endeavor?epilogue wrote:I'm writing a series of blogs about my experience with each record. rock star gets famous and kills himself. i know they are all individual songs and immortality may or may not be about kurt cobain, a rock star who got famous and killed himself.Leatherhead wrote:Don't think I've ever heard this before.
