Ultimately, I had voted for a Pats-Saints SB. Chiefly because I think the Pats would have a better chance of winning that game. Rams are a better team.

Every time people bring up ideas that would work, league people shoot it down because it "won't be perfect" EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

You're not talking about perfection. You're talking about eliminating abject stupidity.

A Goal line system in soccer proves a goal or not. A line system in tennis proves in or out.

The 8th official watches the damn game, when there's obviously a problem, buzz in and stop play. You don't have to fix EVERYTHING ON EVERY PLAY for this to work. The damn review system now is "call New York" That's absurd, wasteful, and time consuming. There are 100 monitors any given Sunday in 15 suites at every stadium. One guy watching the broadcast replay can improve this nonsense. Play isn't stopped by the 8th official unless he's got a good reason, not to mention, you remove the Ref, jogging over go look at a 10" surface under a hood.

You're fixing the blatantly obvious errors that will be replayed over and over and over and over again for everyone to see.


This is so damn easy and the cost is a pittance.



We can't afford an 8th official, but fuck yeah, build us free stadiums in every city, also we're taking one of your home games, so people in Mexico and England, can pay exorbitant prices to grow the game.... that's important.....

You could save 36 million a year and whatever the use of a private plane costs per year by NOT paying Roger Goodell to basically do nothing.
