Hypothetically speaking, is there something like the salary cap that the NCAA could implement for parity? Much like seeing Buffalo in four straight Super Bowls, this isn't very exciting.

No, not really, as long as conferences can individually negotiate TV contracts.

3:08am.
I slept for less than 90 minutes. I am up now awaiting my ride to the airport for a 5am flight to Burbank for the Rose Bowl. Flying home tomorrow at 8am.

Watching the Fiesta Bowl...I'm still baffled by the targeting rule and the spirit behind the rule. LSU QB gets lit up with a blindsided block to the upper chest and neck area. No targeting. Fast forward to the second quarter where an LSU gets tossed for hitting a UCF player in the head as he was coming to the ground. The LSU player had left his feet while the UCF player was in the air. There was absolutely no way for the LSU player to know where his helmet would be when he started the tackle.

Ah, that moment when the new Georgia coach becomes the old Georgia coach...
There will never be a team in this state that isn’t a laughable embarrassment.
Kirby is James Franklin warmed over.

Might be an exaggeration. Number 5 teams are now 1-4 in their bowl game since the inception of the playoff.

I don't disagree but it does take the wind out of the "should have been us" argument.
