I was at the next night, wish that was available, would love to relive it.
That video has been available for years!
Haha perfect, thanks! I somehow missed this.

This was pretty good.

Matt is great and I love his songs, but I'll never feel like he's a good fit for Pearl Jam, musically.

Need that groove, that slightly delayed swing to allow Stone's guitar to fill the spaces in-between.

Very cool. Not sure if it's been posted elsewhere but PJ's YouTube channel has been posting (mostly) pro-shot live videos to coincide with each of the postponed European show dates. This was the first one older than 2010, as the band hasn't played Budapest since 1996. Zurich is up next, which they haven't played since 2000 :D

So was going through some old VHS tapes. One tape features a recording of the live stream from this performance. I'm not sure if I captured the whole performance.

04/06/01 - St. James Theatre: Auckland, New Zealand (Ed appearing with Neil Finn and others) [160m]
attendance: 1,500
soundcheck: Golden Years, Timeless Melody (x4)
set 1: [only songs that included Ed] Take a Walk, Better Man/(Save It For Later)
set 2: Stuff and Nonsense, I Got You, History Never Repeats, I See Red, World Where You Live
enc: Golden Years, Timeless Melody

It's different to the one on the 7 Worlds Collide DVD release. Should I bother capturing it Probably recorded in mono.

Perhaps someone already captured the web cast back then? Would save me the hassle!

Cheers

so this is the version of mfc from live on two legs, according to wikipedia.

but it is wrong. the drum fills are different, the solos are different and the vocals are different. how could the jamily have had it so wrong all these years? this is like bettermangate all over again.

Also, US crowds are so lame.
