I heard the new Metal Gear really dialed back on the cut scenes....that true?

Once you get past the prologue it is pretty much gameplay, resource collection/management, and mission selection.

Prologue long?

I didn't really keep track, maybe about an hour?

I dont know. This game is pretty hard if you want remain completely stealthy. It doesn't really penalize you if you aren't though.
