It was definitely much better than anticipated. It was not the jumbled mess I was expecting. However, fuck its exhausting. It makes sense that LV thinks this is the greatest movie ever made since he loves Michael Bay. How many explosions do we need to get the point across? The movie was an hour too long. I think this had more false endings than Return of the King. Good lord.

I dont think Henry Cavill is a good actor. His super intense dialogue comes across extremely flat. He's not interesting or engaging in the slightest bit.

Affleck was great. He makes a good Bruce Wayne and Batman, although I really didn't care much for how Batman is portrayed here. It doesnt make sense to me to put him into this world. The dream sequences were, looking back, rather pointless. The desert scene? Why? No impact on anything. Also, the "Do you bleed, you will!" Was terribly delivered. Overall, I would be interested in his Batman moving forward.

I didn't buy the hatred between Batman and Superman either. Seemed forced. I don't care that Supermans destruction took down Wayne Financial, that doesn't seem like a reason to want to destroy superman. Batman has collateral damage as well. I dont know. I just didnt buy it.

Amy Adams in the tub :luv:

Lex Luthor - Interesting take and the way Zuckerberg handled the character made it more believable having him cast as Luthor. So, i dug that. Though, he felt way more like The Joker than Lex.

Doomsday. Lol.

Yes, the scene where the bat and supe become besties? Its even worse seeing it play out. Horribly delivered lines. I laughed out loud during it. Weak, a cop out, terribly written, terribly shot.

Introducing the justice league was a waste of time and definitely detracted from everything else that was going on though I like when Wonder Woman showed up to help save the day.

Every single fucking shot in the movie attempts to be the biggest, most baddest, most biblical with super fucking loud music. Every scene shot it appears he is trying to make it far more important than it is/was. Its exhausting and about halfway through the movie it becomes comical.

So, all that said, it really isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Take an hour out of the movie and i would have enjoyed it much more.

Re-reading my post above, it seems as though I didnt enjoy it at all. I had fun watching most of it which is really all a movie needs to do for me!
