Cool, thanks for sharing. Glad to see someone actually writes something about the songs againKidCminus wrote:Went to the LA listening party. My Father's Son is fucking KILLER. Aggressive. Pendulum is perfect. Infallible is a groovy anthem. yellow moon reminds me of lowlight. I loved it. Getaway is crazy good. The album delivers. No filler.
48:25 total, that's almost 12 minutes more than Backspacer. I never realised BS was so short!Acidfuel wrote:Pendulum 3:44wilkins wrote:As per iTunes:

This. PMs happening? Or is this anotherGot Some wrote:Show us your lightning bolts!!'
It's nice what is said about Pendulum: that Brendan could not even remember the song from the Backspacer sessions but it was precious for the band. They added new drums and vocals.stupidmop wrote:http://www.tt.com/kultur/musik/7274437- ... g-bolt.csp
German review thing. The little bits I've Google translated haven't said anything New but yeah.

The new album is fantastic. It rocks. It’s angry. It’s got swagger. It's moody. It’s got a heart. It’s got a sense of humor. Pearl Jam just stoked the fire that burns in a lot their fans with this album. I can’t wait for the release so I can hear it again, so more people can hear it. And can't wait to see this album live.
Thank you Ten Club for a great day!
PS - I wish I were like that guy in Germany who was able to strum out Sirens for us and be able to play Infallible. The back to back tracks of Infallible & Pendulum are good guys. Really good.
My fathers son - Fantastic. Can't wait to hear it again and take a look at the lyrics. This felt very angry to me. And Sirens follows it which lyrically felt like a 180. Infallible - Incredible. Pendulum - Amazing. Yellow moon - Awesome.
It really seems like Brendan's music taste and instincts are like 90% different to the band's. Why they were so keen to work with him again I have no idea. Maybe that deserves a thread in itself.Mirella wrote:It's nice what is said about Pendulum: that Brendan could not even remember the song from the Backspacer sessions but it was precious for the band.
